By creating an account or using the Muvtrak app or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users including renters, landlords, property managers, and any other individuals or businesses.
Muvtrak provides a platform for documenting property condition through structured photo inspections, digital checklists, and signed PDF reports. The Service is designed to help users create documentation that may be used in deposit disputes or similar situations.
You agree to use Muvtrak only for lawful purposes. You must not:
Your content: You retain ownership of all photos, notes, and other content you upload ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant Muvtrak a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
Our content: Muvtrak owns all rights to the Service — including app design, code, branding, AI analysis, and report templates. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
Report ownership: Signed PDF reports generated from your inspection data belong to you. You may share them freely for any lawful purpose.
The Dispute Strength Score, Damage Cost Estimator, and Demand Letter Generator are provided for informational purposes only.
One-time purchase ($9.99): Grants lifetime access to all paid features for individual renters and landlords. Final and non-refundable except as required by law or Apple/Google platform policies.
Subscriptions ($29/mo and above): Billed monthly. Cancel any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused portions of a cycle.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY REPORT WILL BE ACCEPTED AS EVIDENCE IN ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUVTRAK'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MUVTRAK IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL MUVTRAK BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DEPOSITS, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muvtrak from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Sections 5, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Georgia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
